Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Manager (m/f/d) 80-100% to support one of the most prestigious sporting events – the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. In this role, you’ll work with top sponsors, international federations, and dedicated event teams to make sure every brand experience is seamless, exciting, and impactful.
From coordinating hospitality and VIP programs to leading on-site activations and sub-events, you’ll be a key player in creating unforgettable moments for partners and fans. Your main tasks
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), local Organising Committees, service providers and other key stakeholders
- Act as the main point of contact for sponsors and partners when it comes to marketing operations
- Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams, including marketing, media and digital
- Assist in organising and executing the sponsor ticketing and VIP Voucher program
- Lead the recruitment, scheduling and briefing of hospitality hostesses and supervise them on-site during events
- Independently plan and execute sub-events related to the IIHF project, such as sponsor workshops
- Coordinate the re-invoicing process for partners and sponsors in collaboration with our Finance team
- Support in the coordination of the marketing photography project and the production process of the official team advertising for the championship
- Be an active part of the on-site implementation of marketing operations during the IIHF WM
- Support the marketing operations team in other tasks related to the IIHF project
Your profile
- You have 2–3 years of experience in marketing and events, and hold an advanced degree in marketing, event management or a related field
- You communicate confidently, clearly, and enjoy working with different stakeholders
- You bring a strong customer service orientation, excellent organisational skills and a mindset that is structured and detail-oriented
- You stay calm under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks with ease
- You ideally have experience in account management and event ticketing
- You are willing to travel internationally and bring a strong understanding of marketing and service excellence
- You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- You are fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus
