Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a driven and strategic sales talent with a passion for sport and a hunter mentality as a Sponsorship Sales Manager (m/f/d) 80-100%. You’ll build global partnerships, craft compelling sponsorship solutions, and work closely with clubs, leagues, and rights holders to create real value for brands and fans alike.

Your main tasks
1. Infront rights and packages
- Proactively identify and engage new sponsorship clients worldwide to expand our market reach
- Sell predefined rights packages with a strong focus on winter sports, (e.g., IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships, Champions Hockey League, Curling and EHF Handball EURO’s)
- Drive outbound sales through cold outreach, relationship building, and strategic lead targeting
- Represent Infront’s virtual and digital advertising solutions to maximise brand exposure and ROI for partners
2. Third party sales
- Act as the main commercial contact for assigned third-party winter sports rights, including leagues, clubs and competitions
- Develop customised partnership proposals aligned with clients’ objectives and the sports/events’ positioning
- Use a consultative sales approach to craft tailored and compelling sponsorship offerings
3. Data, analytics & consumer research
- Utilise market data, sponsorship trends and competitor insights to sharpen and personalise your sales pitches
- Apply performance metrics and ROI case studies to strengthen your value propositions and client conversations
Your profile
- You have 5–8 years’ experience in sponsorship sales or related fields, with at least 5 years focused on international sports marketing rights, preferably in winter sports
- You bring a proven hunter mentality and excel in new business development, cold acquisition, and solution selling
- You have a strong international network and demonstrate the ability to build and nurture client relationships across multiple markets
- You have a deep working knowledge of the entire sales funnel and a solid understanding of sponsorship contract structures and negotiation
- You are comfortable with regular international travel across different time zones and experienced in using sponsorship analytics tools (e.g. Nielsen, YouGov)
- You confidently engage with C-level brand contacts, presenting persuasive, clear, and tailored value propositions
- You are digitally savvy, using AI tools and CRM (e.g. HubSpot) to enhance sales productivity and client management
- You have excellent presentation and storytelling skills, combined with a deep understanding of sponsorship KPIs and marketing strategies
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, are adaptable and resilient, and comfortable working independently or within a team
- You are fluent in English and proficient in German; additional languages are a plus
